The starting of this program was from  2008 . The Main objective of this task is to help meritorious Poor Students to continue their education after VIII class. Also to encourage such candidates to continue their studies further. The main Cost of Scholarship is 6 k rupees per Year to every student. It will be given up to 12th class for both government and Private schools. For various States quota is different. Condition for this scheme this is student parent income should not exceed one Lakh fifty thousand rupees. Students are selected by arranging NTSE exam for various states and Union Territories.



From the year 2014 a separate exam called NMMS will be executed by the  governments od states . Scholarship going to be transferred directly by SBI bank into student personal  accounts quarterly. Exam consist of two tests MAT ( Mental ability Test) and Scholastic Aptitude Test. Candidate will be tested on Total 180 Multiple choice questions. For each test 90 Minutes are allotted. Cut off mark for this examination is 40% , for reserved category candidates it is 32 %.
